I am kind of a big deal, in case you wanted to know. I mean, I am kind of a big deal in my own little world…
Anywho, I’m Kasey. I’m a native of Southern California (Pasadena to be exact) who escaped to Arizona to go to college in 2006. I went back to CA for about 2 months after graduation in December 2009 but came right back to the Valley of the Sun, and I’ve been here permanently in Phoenix since then!
Professionally, I am a marketer, and I have worked in a few different industries – healthcare, mortgage, technology, and now insurance. I also do freelance writing, marketing, and design work when I feel drawn to a project.
Aside from my marketing fun, I am also a certified yoga instructor. In my spare time, I not only teach yoga, I practice regularly. Learn more about my yoga life here. In addition to yoga, I used to be an avid runner. I also ride my bike when I feel like it and I want to get back into it. Learn more about my fitness life here.
And because I am never busy enough, I also used to volunteer on the national executive board of my sorority, Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority. I recently resigned from my board position to be able to focus on my personal life. I am sure OPhiA will come up on here many times, so if you’ve got questions feel free to ask!
Of course in addition to all that, I am what basic white girls call a DogMom to my sweet lil labradoodle, Hazel.
I can be reached via email at hello [underscore] kasey [at] icloud [dot] com.
